MICHAEL BISHOP
Seasoned Neutral + Trailblazer
In 1986, Michael was one of four volunteer lawyers who convened to solve a key issue: reduce the number of cases to create a more efficient court system. What started as a volunteer effort was, in fact, the birth of mediation in Indianapolis.
Michael is very experienced in multiparty and high-conflict cases. He employs emotional intelligence and patience to overcome barriers of misunderstanding and poor communication.
Over the last three decades, Michael has mediated or arbitrated 4,000+ cases in the areas of:
- Business
- Commercial
- Trust and Estates
- Guardianship
- Employment – breach of employment contracts, violation of restrictive covenants, discriminatory discharge, non-compete agreements, violating trade secrets, and non-solicitation agreements
- Torts – auto personal injury, wrongful death, serious injury, professional malpractice
